In a recent art competition held in conjunction with Roscommon Drama Festival students from Fuerty National School had great success. The competition asked entrants to design a poster to advertise a play from the festival line up. Rachel Neilan from 6th class was awarded 2nd place in the overall competition for her poster about the play "Portia Coughlan". Katie Lavin and Chloe Golden received merit awards for their posters about "Whistle in the Dark". Danny Arnold was awarded 2nd place in Fuerty National School for his poster about "The Field". Congratulation to each of the students on their success.
