Mark Ward, Daragh Mullen, John Neilan, Christopher Leahy and Adam White were part of the AFK community games under 13 indoor soccer team which competed in the County Finals last week-end. They overcame a tough Strokestown team in the semi-final only winning after extra time and penalties. In the final they were much the stronger team winning 3 - 1 against Douglas Hyde. James McDonald, Thomas Clayton and Brendan Mullen from Athleague were also important players for the team. The boys now go on to the Connaught Finals which are held in the Ballygar / Mountbellow area this year. This should mean a big crowd of supporters for the boys
